What a great day. I went on a field trip with my Dual Credit students from White Oaks Secondary School. We went to High Park Greenhouses in Toronto. I met a former student of mine and that was perfect! I love meeting students who are on a positive career path. He also teached part-time at Humber and has great presence with the students. what a great experience for the "kids".
THEN! Linda and I were kid-less so we went out for beer and wings. We then home and played Wii. I wasn't that interested but had fun. A glass of wine and we watched TV for a little bit and off to bed. Sounds boring but after being apart for a while its nice to veg and be together. I am very lucky to be with Linda. She's a great influence on me.

Grateful and happy. It was great to walk through the doors at the arrivals area at Pearson to see Linda standing thee to pick us up. I am amazed that after 24 years of being married, she still makes my heart flutter.
the kids and I had a great time in LA. we all learned lots of stuff to help us grow our businesses. Morgan is going to sign up as soon as we get our gatherings organized!

Happy Birthday Morgan. 20 on the 20th. Its been a wonderful 20 years for me.
Well. Morgan, Ainsley and I are in Los Angeles on the third and final day of our trip here. I started a business a while ago and Morgan is joining me. Ainsley will be too when she turns 18. We are in LA at a training session. It has been a very positive experience for all of us. Someone has called it Personal Growth with a remuneration package. I feel a better person each time share the opportunity with someone.
One thing I am learning about myself is that it is up to me to be happy. Too often I let my experience dictate my happiness. I need to look past the experience and make a positive choice to be happy. A few years ago I hit a personal roadblock and recognised that I could no longer just coast through life and let it happen to me. I started to make positive changes and choices and although the road has been tough, I believe I am better person than I was then. I read (and re-read) a book called The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy. It taught me that all of the changes we want to make never have short term results. I cut fries out of my diet and lost 50 pounds over 2 years. I stared saving $30 a week and its off to La Republica Dominicana next fall! You can do it too.
All too many people who claim to be helping often are just afraid you will grow past them and therefore they may be negative to you. Put those negative thoughts aside and let positivity roll over you. If you are like me, it will be a very difficult challenge. BUT PERSIST. You will often stumble and feel you have failed. Failure is when the stumbles are ignored. When you recognise your stumble and analyse it to figure out how you stumbled in order to avoid it again - that is called PROGRESS.
Live your life. love your life.
If anyone wants a positive experience AND make a little extra money - let me know and I can show you how. It NEVER hurts to learn something new.
